T-shirt Upcycle: Door Decoration

Alright friends, here is my second t-shirt upcycle project to share with you. Again, it was all white t-shirts that were worn out and since we have an orange door, white seemed the most appropriate.

What you'll need:

Sorry, it's a bit blurry. I believe it was a 5 in. ball, but if I did it again I would use a smaller one.

I used approximately 3 medium sized t-shirts for each ball. 

1 1/2-2 in. strips that you cut down to: 

1 1/2-2 in. squares, could've been smaller too.

Cut the edges off the squares to create circles. Once you have all your circles you fold them in quarters and hot glue them into place on the ball. I started at the "top" and worked by way around.

Finished with the top and bottom, then worked my way into the center.

I didn't realize it would change so drastically,
a big reason why I'd start with a smaller ball next time.

There you have it. A raggy old t-shirt turned into a cute door hanging! I had planned to use three balls, but went through all my shirts and this project is far more time consuming then I was expecting. So I settled for two...at least for now! ;)
